Sail-rigger's bag

Sail-rigger's bag

Name - Sail-rigger's bag

By - Margaret from East Ayrshire

from Margaret:
Historically a rigger was a person who worked with ropes for hoisting the sails of a ship. The many pockets within the bag were I suppose to hold tools etc!!!

I made mine using my fabric from you into a baby bag as a present . I intend to fill the pockets with items that a baby needs ( cotton buds, talc oil etc).

What a lovely bag and so useful as well. This fabric from Precious Moments works perfectly for a boy or a girl.
